Monday Morning Mews: When I Speak

Hello, readers, Coco here with our Monday blog post.

My pawrents have a recliner on each side of the bed. Each night, when they turn out the lights, Motor Mommy puts MY throw in her recliner, and that’s where I sleep. That is the softest, coziest ‘blankie’, and I begin my night by making a nice batch of biscuits on it. Then I settle in for a nap.

But I can tell when Motor Mommy is awake, whether it’s during the night or early in the morning.  And when she’s awake, I want to be on the bed with her.

When morning comes, sometimes, she’ll look at her phone to see if she missed any messages during the night. But I have my ways of letting her know that she needs to pay attention to ME.  Anything on her phone can wait until I have my morning attention.

Since she had her phone in hand yesterday morning, she recorded me ‘speaking’ and reaching out to her.  You can see that video here (be sure to have your volume up):

And I’m happy to report that, after recording that, she did put her phone aside to focus on me.  As it should be, of course.
