Hello, readers. It’s the final Monday Morning Mews of 2025.
Today I want to tell you about a temporary job that I had a couple of weeks ago. Motor Man had cataract surgery, and that afternoon, Motor Mommy had to run a couple of quick errands.
When she left home, she told me that I was ‘in charge’. So I guess you could say that I took her at her word.
This is the first time I’d gotten up on Motor Man’s lap since they adopted me a year ago this week. He was so happy to see that I was taking my job seriously, that he snapped a couple of pics to send to Motor Mommy.
He was supposed to have the second procedure done this past week, but had to postpone, because he and Motor Mommy were both sick. Goodness, did I have my paws full taking care of both of them!?
I’m not sure I was cut out to be a nurse kitty after all.

Well Coco I totally understand…..I have to take care of my Mom and Dad and it’s not an easy job when they’re WELL but when they’re SICK it’s a chore! But we do it because they take such good care of us…..it’s a LOVE thing…..and that’s SOOO worth it!
