Poetic Thursday: Growing-Up Years

Another Thursday, another poem with our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats.

They gave us this photo for our inspiration:

Here’s my poem:

Growing-up  Years

Kids and scissors: a mom’s heart attack.
But, don’t worry, Mom, that hair will grow back.

Til then, you’ll probably both shed some tears;
it’s all part of those growing-up years.

  1. We did a lot of dumb things as kids.

  2. Yes I think that’s right – kids DO experiment with scissors and often it’s on their own hair! I’ve known so many who tell the same story about trying to give themselves a trim with disastrous (or funny) results. Thanks for joining in our poetic fun!

    Hugs, Pam

  3. Yep, I think we have all been there!

    I love your poem.

    Pray JR is better. Please give him our love. ♥️🌹🤗
