Once again, our weekend travels took us to the 4-wheel drive beaches of Carova, NC.
It was breezy and cool, but the sun was shining, and we saw eighteen wild horses.
A couple of them were enjoying the sunshine.
This time of year, they’re all decked out in their winter woolies.
Hi, there, sleepyhead.
You may recall this picture from a few weeks ago of the sea foam around the stumps.
One of the most amazing things above Carova beach is that, at certain times of the year, the stumps are exposed…and at other times, we apparently drive right over them. This picture, from this weekend, is the same area where all those stumps were just a few weeks ago.
Saturday, we only saw a few stumps , this being the largest.
As I’ve said many times before, each trip to the beach is different. But always interesting.
