Sunrises are like people: although there’s usually something special about each one, some are just naturally prettier than others.
The sunrise of March 20 was especially beautiful.
The layer of fog added a bit of a mystical touch.
I seem to have a required daily allowance of waterfowl. On this particular morning, it was ducks.
And I continued to enjoy the sunrise, even after I came back inside.

Such a beautiful view you have, Dianna! That sunrise, with the fog, is so peaceful, and I love the view through the window!
For post with photos like this, I wish WP had a ‘love it’ button. Your photos are so mystical and enchanting. You’re view through the window of such beauty is a true treat and looks like a painting. 🙂
The fog makes even the commonplace mysterious. But there’s sure nothing commonplace about the fantastic view from your back yard. Lovely!
Love the photo through your living room window. Gorgeous.
There is a magic to these ~ the fog, the glassy, still water. And the sun a ball of fire. And that last shot through your window is very special! What a view!!
The word that springs to mind is – awesome. What beautiful pictures and what a view you have out of your window. I love the reflections you captured in the water.
i like how you put that opening line. 🙂 loveliness all around you!
(and my ol’ moss is doing GREAT!)
Just when one thinks there couldn’t be a better sunrise, another shows up! What a lovely view from your window. That’s pretty fabric on your chair, too.
These are all great shots, but I’d have to say that the last one here is definitely my favorite… the mist really adds that *extra* touch!
How wonderful you can enjoy the sunrises on the OUTSIDE and the INSIDE as well….with the same incredible view out over the water – complete with assorted water fowl! Just lovely.

Each and every picture~gorgeous! I couldn’t pick a favorite today. I always love your shots of the Marina with the gazebo! Now that I am looking again I might have to give a nudge to the shot with the ducks!
Some of your absolute best photos! Simply beautiful. You’re right, the fog definitely added a mystical touch.
