Monday morning, as Motor Man and I were opening the curtains, we noticed how pretty the sunrise sky was.
I grabbed the camera and headed toward the back door. Since I keep a pair of flip-flops by each door, I slipped those on and went out on the deck.
After taking a picture….
….I turned to go back inside. And that’s when my foot hit the patch of frost.
Isn’t it amazing how quickly and how hard we can “be seated”? Thankfully, nothing was broken or bruised.
And since no one saw me fall, even my pride was spared.

Well I’d say it was worth a fall to get that photo BUT I wasn’t the one who “took a dive” either! Glad you weren’t hurt………..

It was a beautiful sunrise, and so glad you captured it without damage to you! Some of the sunrises with their striations of color have reminded me of our “Southern” Lights.

Well, ouch! Glad you’re not hurt. It happens so fast, doesn’t it? Kind of a shock to find yourself ‘seated’ instead of continuing on your way. It happened to me once while taking pictures too. My feet went out from under me and I slid down a bank on my bottom. Thank goodness it was in our back yard behind the house so I’m pretty sure no one saw me except maybe the hawk I was trying to capture with my camera. 😉

Oh my…The things we go through to get a good shot! The photo is beautiful! Glad you weren’t hurt 🙂 The times I have fallen, there were plenty of witnesses, so I guess you were lucky in that respect as well!
Glad you didn’t hurt yourself. I managed to do the same thing on a patch of mud when out walking dogs over Christmas. Luckily the dogs were the only ones who saw me! Beautiful picture as always though.
