Several of my Facebook friends are gals who also write blogs. And that’s really nice that we’ve connected in that way, since most of us don’t blog everyday.
But there’s one aspect of this that bothers me a little. Whenever I post a picture on Facebook, I hesitate to include that photo in a blog post. Because I feel as though I’m forcing my blogging/Facebook friends to “sit through a rerun”.
Such is the case today. I shared the last photo in today’s post on Facebook earlier in the week.
Monday had been an overcast, dreary, drizzly day in our area. But the skies began to clear late in the day. As my mom used to say: “The sun came out in time to set”.
However, there were still clouds.
I thought the photo above would be the extent of photo ops with the sunset. But, later, I glanced out the window and saw the most vivid pink sky I can recall.
This was the best picture I could get with our camera. (I still don’t understand all those camera buttons. I’m just an “auto setting” kinda girl.)
BUT, this one was taken with my trusty little Android phone. And it captures the colors in the sky perfectly.
And, of course, I had to immediately share it on Facebook. Thus the reason some of you are sitting through a rerun today.
