Caption This!

I’ve mentioned before that, when we look out a window here at home, we just never know what we might see.

There are…..birds, ducks, rabbits, geese, deer, raccoon, squirrels, egrets, osprey, eagles, a harbor seal and on rare occasion, dolphin. The list goes on.

A couple of days ago, this was the sight right outside our bedroom window.

I shared it on my Facebook page, which resulted in some interesting comments from my friends.

So I thought I’d give my blog followers an opportunity to weigh in with their own captions.

And…..go!

  1. That is one determined squirrel! I’m amazed that he could get to the feeder on a Shepherd’s hook. I understand getting to one hanging from a tree branch, but really???? We have a squirrel that hangs from our snowman bird feeder. Now that’s a picture worth a 1000 words! Glad you caught it because who’d believer it otherwise? 🙂

  2. Squirrels are amazing little acrobats – I see sights like this daily on one of my three (sometimes all three) bird feeders. Hanging by a toe or two to get a snack! I have one feeder that has a top that’s opened by pressing a button and one very smart squirrel who knows how to press the button to open the top and reach In like a big candy jar and help himself. Gotta love those guys……

  3. Hangin on till ya filler up!

  4. “… & this feeder features a unique, patented anti-squirrel feature..”

  5. “He swings through the air with the greatest of ease, that daring young squirrel on the flying trapeze…” 😉

  6. I challenge YOU to do it then!

  7. Hey Benny! Look! I’m a bird.

  8. I can’t, I’m laughing too hard! But I’m happy the naughty squirrels are back to enjoy the bird feeders. 😉
