It’s Thursday again and time for poetry over at Two Spoiled Cats. Pam and her boys provided this unusual picture as our inspiration this week:
And here’s my silly poem:
Silly, silly man, he accepted a dare
to shovel snow in his underwear.
“Goodness, no,” said his wife, “you’re going nowhere
til you put on a robe, so the neighbors won’t stare.”
He called his buddy, who said: “that’s only fair;
you in your boxers, just too much to bare bear.”
The job soon finished and done with flair,
he’s now warm and cozy in his favorite chair.
Let’s hope he learned a lesson out there,
and this is the end of those ridiculous dares.
