Our beautiful winter weather is continuing. Yesterday, we had sunny skies and temps in the upper 50’s.
So Motor Man and I headed to Carova beach to see “my” horses. We saw 14, including this one with the most unusual facial markings: I believe “blaze” is the correct terminology. I’m not sure if it has a name, “Lone Ranger” would be appropriate. I can say with certainty that we’ve never see this horse before.
Nearby was this furry one, whose blaze is in the shape of a heart. Perfect for upcoming Valentine’s Day. And there’s a shadow AND a reflection.
This beauty came right up to us as we sat in our vehicle. Note that there was a fence separating us. I don’t think he cared much about that “no trespassing” sign.
And he rather quickly became bored with us. Once again, these photos were taken with the zoom lens of my camera.
It was quiet on the beach, not many other folks taking advantage of the weather.
But another perfect day trip for us.
~These Days Of Mine~
Glad you had a pretty day for horse-watching. That horse that you visited with up close – I see that sign under him says “private property” – does that mean HE is (??!!) or that he’s ON private property! HAHA
Pam
Such beautiful horses! The first one looked like a registered quarter horse, such nice lines and markings!
Beautiful horses – especially liked the yawn! The waves were kicking up too! Your zoom lens sure gives us an ‘up close’ glimpse into the world of “your” horses.
Beautiful pics! Particularly love the yawning/talking Mr.Ed horse!!
You did have a beautiful day for it. More good pictures.
Great pics ! that next to last pic is awesome – made me laugh immediately !
Wonderful horses! That one has good teeth!
