Welcome to Thursday. And it’s not just Thursday, it’s Poetic Thursday. As usual, I’m joining Pam and her boys at Two Spoiled Cats for some poetry.
This is the picture that was provided for our inspiration this week:
And here’s my poem:
The (Not) Fun House
‘Fun house’, you say, well I know it sounds silly,
but just looking at that thing gives me the willies.
So you go ahead and have lots of fun,
and I’ll be waiting right here when you’re done.
~These Days Of Mine~
Perfect! I agree— too creepy for me!
My recollection of the Fun Houses I’ve been to in my youth were that they WERE fun – full of silly things……….the Haunted House and House of Horror and Ghost Ride were the ones I avoided! Thanks for playing poetry with us – this was a good one!
Pam
And I’ll be waiting there with you — I hate those things.
So creepy you’re going to devote only two stanzas to it ?! I like it … not hanging around there too long, huh ? ; )
My sentiments exactly. Well said! I agree with Marshall, two stanzas is enough!
