It’s Thursday again, and time for poetry with Pam, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats.
Our inspirational photo for this week:
And here’s my poem:
Igloo Living
An igloo house, guess that could be fun.
Would you like to live in one?
As for me, I don’t think so:
I’m too fond of having windows.
I’d have to wonder where one room ends,
And just where does the next one begin?
Igloo living: I suppose you’d adjust.
Thanks, but we’ll pass..not the house for us!
~These Days Of Mine~
If this house was located at the North Pole I’m sure I’d love it but here – no thanks! I love this photo though – whoever put it together had a sense of humor and all the poetry I’ve read so far today handled it well and had fun with it just like you did!
Hugs, Pam
Love this photo, but want my windows and wonder on which ‘wall’ to put furniture. Yep, not the house for us either!
Thought house is so mentally provocative, you could have gone so many directions.
You addressed (and wonderfully) no windows!
It looks like a golfball. Whatever you cooked, the smell would be in the house for a long time as no windows to fly open
Like I said, provocative!
Great poem Dianna!
Great poem. I would need windows too.
Another great one ! & I’d have to agree – I think most of us are used to corners !
Great poem!! I would not want to live without windows. That would so depressing for sure.
So I would be so claustrophobic in an igloo shaped house. I must have windows!
