Poetic Thursday: In A Row

Today, as usual, I’m joining Pam and her boys at Two Spoiled Cats for Poetic Thursday.

This is the photo we were given last week for inspiration:

Here’s my poem:

In A Row

“I need to get my ducks in a row”
is an old saying that we all know.

These ducks in a row are taking a walk
on this beautiful day in a local park.

Families laughing, children at play;
it’s the perfect place to spend the day.

So get your ducks in a row and come on down.
There’s  a little bit of country right here in town.

  1. Cute poem – and I’m sure this crew does this little trip across the park to the pond every day which must be fun for those visiting the park to see. Thanks for participating in poetry day with us!
