Poetic Thursday: Bingo Ladies

Thursday means poetry here at These Days. Each week, our friends, Pam and her ginger kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats,  provide us with a photo for inspiration. Here is this week’s picture:

And this is my poem:

Bingo Ladies

These three are quite the sight
every week on Bingo night.

If they disapprove, there is no doubt:
a frown, a smirk, or maybe a pout.

What this is about, we really can’t say,
but something has clearly upset their day.

“Neckline’s too low, she’s such a flirt.
Too much makeup, look at that skirt!”

These ladies seem to take it all in.
It’s no wonder that they never win.
