A Birthday And Poetry

As usual, on Thursdays, I’m participating in Poetic Thursday with Pam, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats.

But, first, there’s a birthday today  in our family. Please join Motor Man and me in wishing my son, Marshall, a very Happy Birthday. We’ll be celebrating with him a little later.

And now, on to poetry.

And we’re definitely shifting gears here. This is the photo we were given for our inspiration this week:

Here’s my poem:

Wolf-man

You never know on this daily commute;
now here’s a guy in a wolf-man suit.

Where is he going, why is he here?
Is he harmless, or someone to fear?

No one wants to talk to him,
but, dude, those eyebrows could use a trim.

  1. Happy birthday, Marshall! Love you!

  2. Happy Birthday! Marshall!

    Great poem. His seat mate doesn’t look too happy to be sharing the seat or ride.

  3. First off, Happy Birthday to Marshall! Then that photo – what a hoot. You came up with a humorous poem to fit it. Maybe he thinks he’s Bigfoot???

  4. Thanks to everybody for the birthday wishes !
    & this passenger looks a bit like a cross between Chewbacca and The Cowardly Lion ; )

  5. First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY Marshall! Hope it’s a perfect day for you! Now on to the poem: HAHAHA! Good one!! We really threw everyone a curve ball with this photo didn’t we. Well, that’s fun to do once in a while.
