Poetic Thursday: Dog Mom

Time again for Poetic Thursday with our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats.

They provided us with this cute photo for this week’s inspiration:

And here’s my poem:

Dog Mom

Being a dog mom is somewhat of a chore
since the pups discovered the doggy door.

In and out, out and in,
then they start over and do it again.

Y’all get into mischief if you dare,
just don’t make me have to come out there!

    I imagine it’s quite “busy” for Dog Moms when they have a pile of pups….that doggy door is mostly a toy for them and probably does drive their Mom crazy. Love your poem – this photo was just plain FUN to write a poem about.
