Poetic Thursday: Just Hanging Around

Another Thursday has rolled around, and that means it’s poetry time. Pam and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, host Poetic Thursday each week. We always look forward to sharing poetry with them.

This is the cute photo they gave us last week for inspiration:

And here’s my poem:

Just Hanging Around

What’s going on there, little man?
Looks like you could use a hand.

Those kids were obviously pranking you,
and there’s really nothing you can do.

I’ll help you out, you can be on your way;
you can ‘pay it forward’ another day.

But here’s a rule that everyone knows:
always ‘remove human before hanging clothes’.

  1. Oh how precious! I wondered about the pranking but then considered how many times I’d liked to have done that with my kids so I’d know they stay put while I was finishing a chore. Well done!

  2. what a great ending ! – my money is on this being some sort of ” time out ” … ?

  3. Cute poem! “Always remove human before hanging clothes OR washing them!”…… LOL
