Poetic Thursday: A Kitty’s Day

It’s Thursday again, and that means poetry here on the blog.  Our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, gave us this adorable picture for our inspiration this week:

And here’s my poem:

A Kitty’s Day

When you’re a kitty, you fight and you play;
a little of each makes up your day.

Snuggles and cuddles and cat naps, too;
that’s just what sweet little kitties do.

Your hoomans give you scritches and pats.
Yes, every life should have nine cats.*

*I can’t take credit for that last line: it’s on a garden flag that I bought several years ago.

  1. I love that saying on the garden flag…..and I agree…..the more the merrier although having one that is HUGE is like having several! Thanks for being part of our Poetry Day!
