Birthday Cruise
The water’s like glass, so let’s ‘sail’ away,
just ‘round the harbor, not out to the bay.
A magical night we’ll spend out here
on a cruise to celebrate another year.
This is a perfect place to watch the sun set;
the start of an evening we won’t ever forget.
Later, we’ll keep our eyes to the skies,
and watch for the “Strawberry Moon” to rise.
It’s a birthday boat with a ‘candle’ on top;
my wish? That, for a moment, time would just stop.
A night that’s as special as it can be,
spent with my love. Happy Birthday to me.
