Last week, I shared my first “bookends” post: a sunrise and sunset from the same day. Today, we have “Bookends, Part II”.
This was the sky just before sunrise Monday morning.
And the sky at sunset that day.
It isn’t often that I’m up before sunrise, AND we’re home to catch the sunset the same day, but it’s nice when it happens.

The book-end photos bring to mind the old saying:
Red in the evening, sailors’ delight;
Red in the morning, sailors take warning.
I hardly ever see a sunrise as I am not a morning person. I think I love the sunsets more.
The before sunrise shot has amazing clouds and colors. Sunsets are always colorful. Over achiever! LOL
