A Band Of Goslings

Technology can be so frustrating. I’ve tried for the better part of the week to put music to this video.

But, for various and sundry reasons, it just ain’t happening.

I am, however, determined to share the video with you.  This was taken through the window of our garage door one day last week.  I happened to glance out and see all seven goslings enjoying our little bird bath.

Although they were obviously drinking water, I couldn’t help but think that it looked like they were singing.

So, I present to you “The Gosling Band”:  feel free to insert your own music. And just for fun, leave a comment below, if you’d like, with the name of the song you think the goslings might be singing.

~These Days Of Mine~

  1. Can not think of a single song to go with this but it is so cute! We only have 2 goslings this year so far so I am a bit disappointed. So I will totally enjoy yours!

  2. “Cute and Adorable” sums it up!

  3. Cute video! The first thing that popped into my head was a VERY oldie “Cool, Clear, Water” which was written originally as a poem in 1936 by Bob Nolan then turned into a song and sung by practically everyone including Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Cash, and MANY more. I know those little goslings enjoy that fresh water you keep in the bird bath – they are growing up so quickly!

  4. I was instantly reminded of the movie “Fly Away Home”. …And look at Mom or Dad keeping watch over the ‘babes’. Precious video. They do look like they’re singing.

  5. ” Hold Your Head Up ” – Argent, ’72 … ; )

  6. Aww! There are geese all over the campus where I teach, and I’m always smitten with the little ones. There are a few ducks in my neighborhood as well. IMHO, there’s nothing cuter than ducklings/gosling following mom.

  7. Very nice video 👍🏻

    Cute video.

  9. Such cuties! That oldie, “Cool, clear water,” came to my mind immediately. 🙂
