Hello, efurryone. This is Sundae, and today it’s my turn to post.
If you read Motor Mommy’s post last Friday, you know that I’ve been quite a naughty girl recently…..I’ve been biting her on the arm while she’s at the computer.
I really wish I could say what my reason is, but sometimes, it’s difficult for us kitties to put our feelings into words. Yes, I know that I’m doing something wrong when I bite. And I’d like to publicly apologize to Motor Mommy for hurting her.
Several of our readers left comments with ideas about WHY I might be doing that, and some included suggestions on how to break me of the habit. Ideas included ignoring the bad behavior, swatting me on the nose when I bite (huh?!) and perhaps some calming meds from my vet.
I’m really, really going to try to stop biting my mommy. I even agreed to pose with her for a selfie.
Okay, I admit it: judging by my look in this picture, I don’t really appear to be “on board” with a change in my attitude, do I?
I think I have my work cut out for me….

Well Sundae you are a girl with a mind of her own and besides, we never give away our secrets about WHY we do stuff we do! Biting hurts our humans though so we mustn’t do that – I hope you’re able to CURB that behavior for your Mom’s sake……she might run out of bandaids otherwise!
Sundae, you have been a naughty girl and I’m not sure that look on your face is one of repentance. 😉 Motor Mommy, maybe a quick squirt of water on the nose when she tries to bite?
I’ve heard that a spritz of water on the nose helps break the habit too. Worth a try.
Oh Sundae, what is your Mommy going to do with you? It’s so surprising that a little cutie like you would bite your Mommy! Time to play nice!
I’m still without advice……
Hopefully she’ll realize she needs to stop !
Glad you admitted you were wrong, Sundae, to Motor Mommy. That was the first step in the right direction. Keep up the good work!!
Sundae might feel left out, or may know when someone in the house feels bad and is anxious. Hope he is more mellow this week, but you can’t tell it by looking at that picture ha!
Hello Sundae girl
I look forward to hearing what the veterinarian has to say.
Whoever suggested swatting you on the nose should be swatted on the nose- cats should never be swatted.
Sundae…go easy on your sweet pawrent. She deserves hugs instead of bites.
