Sundae and Gypsy have mentioned recently that they feel that they’ve been neglected on the blog.
So, here’s a picture of Sundae being beautiful on a quilt made by my late Aunt Martha. (If you’ve started following the blog in the past couple of years, you may like to read about how I came to have this quilt.) It’s on the bed in our guest room and it’s one of Sundae’s favorite places to nap. I think she senses that Aunt Martha was a kitty lover.
And Miss Gypsy, in one of her favorite spots….loving up on Motor Man. When she wants attention from him, she sits on his desk with her back to him, staring at the wall. No matter how busy he is, he usually caves in. She started this when she was just a kitten, and although she’s five years old, still just wants to be held like a baby. (But only by Motor Man…they do have a special bond.)
Sundae, Gypsy, Motor Man and I wish you a good weekend. And, as we say here in the south: “Happy Fall, y’all!”

You know I had to go back and read the original post about the quilt – brought smiles of remembrance to me. Fall is definitely in the air this morning – YAY!!! Looking forward to enjoying more mornings like this, maybe even a touch cooler. Happy Friday.
That is a beautiful quilt…it’s nice to have a quilt heirloom. I love all my quilts even the newer ones. There’s just something about them – knowing they were put together with love maybe? I hope the “girls” feel like they got some blog time with their cute photos today. Happy Friday…….

We have a cat who for the first 14 years would only snuggle up on my husbands lap, but since kitties brother died he is gradually becoming my lap cat as well.
