A Giveaway!

After taking a year off, The Corolla Wild Horse Fund is once again having a photo contest for next year’s calendar. Rather than waiting until later in the year as they have done in the past, entries must be in by the end of this month, and they’re hoping the calendars will be available for the busy 2019 summer tourist season.

I have been thrilled to have my photos selected for previous calendars, so I will, once again, be entering pictures in the contest. Each entry may contain up to three photos, so I’m sharing with you the three that I’ve chosen:

Picture number 1:

Picture number 2:

And picture 3:

So, to enter the giveaway, leave a comment HERE ON THE BLOG POST, saying which photo you think may possibly be selected for the calendar.

If I’m fortunate enough to have any of these photos chosen, I will draw a name from my readers who selected that photo. That person will receive a gift package, to include the 2020 CWHF calendar. If none of my photos are chosen, a reader who commented will be randomly chosen as the giveaway winner.

Be sure to leave a comment with your selection HERE on the blog. (Your email will not be visible to anyone but me.) The winner will be chosen from the comments left here on the blog post.

  1. All the photos are great but I think they will choose #1. I was torn between that one and #3. #3 reminds us that there are residents of the beach of other species!

  2. They are all good but my favorite is #3. I am partial to horses and birds. I love the fence too!

  3. I have to agree with the gals above, I like all three of them but I think #3 is the winner. 🙂

  4. I love all 3 pictures but I think #3 will be included in the catalog. It is so unusual. Good luck with your entries.

  5. Lovely photos, a difficult choice but overall I think no 1.

A very difficult choice, as usual – I had a hard time choosing between Number 1 and Number 3, and I finally decided on #3 because it is a little whimsical and very unique!! Good luck with your entries! Rita

  7. Number 3! Good luck. Your photos are always beautiful.

  8. I like #1. It makes me happy to look at it.

  9. Yay! The calendar’s back. I don’t want to enter (I luckily won in the past!) but we all love these, especially the third with the bird. Also love the first. ❤

  10. My fave here is number 1.. But I can see number 3 being chosen for the calendar.. But any of them would be great !

  11. Do I have to choose just one??? Oh goodness! I LOVE number 1 – they look like they’re posing for you. The action seen in the sand flying in number 2 is wonderful. And the bird on the horse is precious. OK, because I have to – I choose number 1, but go on record saying that all three should be chosen.

I love all three but I must admit #1 is my favorite. The horses look like they are glowing.

  13. All three are wonderful, but you probably already know I would choose # 3, as I love the sweet symbiotic relationship between the egrets that eat the flying insects off the horses and hitch a ride at the same time, so casually that it is endlessly charming to me. This picture especially perfect behind the white fence.
    Good luck!!

Hard to choose but I’ll say #3

  15. You do such a great job with your pictures. It’s hard to choose, but I think I’d like to pick #3.

  16. PIcture #3 would be my choice if I were picking one. I love the egret on the back of the horse. They are all fabulous pictures!

  17. They are all great photos but I love #3 with the cattle egret hitching a ride. They are such funny little birds. 🙂
    Good luck to you!!!

  18. #1 ~ fuzzy round lil tummies ~ who can resist?
