Today is Poetic Thursday over at Two Spoiled Cats. Here is the photo that Pam and her “boys”, Teddy and Sammy, gave us for inspiration this week.
And this is my poem:
How many years since they first met?
And she’s not tired of kissing him yet!
He leans in for a kiss from his bride,
as proud as ever that she’s by his side.
Life is good, just a bump here and there;
wrinkles: they’ve got ’em, and he’s losing his hair.
They’re in love, though no longer young;
happy together and still having fun.
They have some years on us, but Motor Man and I,
in so many ways, can identify!

SOOO sweet! And yes indeed you and JR remind me a lot of this couple in the photo except you are so much younger. I always tell my David that we may be gray and slow getting around but we have young hearts! Thanks for joining us in Poetic Thursday.
