Yesterday, Motor Man and I headed to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia to enjoy some of this year’s fall foliage. In our area, the peak is still a few weeks away.
From early morning, when we left home, the sky was amazing.
I’m sure there’s probably a scientific reason why there are more contrails on some days than others.
There certainly were a lot yesterday, including this one that Motor Man said looked like a bridge.
We stopped by the highway in front of a horse farm to take a couple of pictures.
It seems wherever we go, I manage to find horses.
And, again this week, we have one of our famous “on the road’ videos:
Are you enjoying fall foliage in your area yet?
~These Days Of Mine~
Glad you enjoyed some of this beautiful Fall weather – you all were out where David and I wander when we are out and about (which isn’t that often these days!). There are some gorgeous horse farms all around here for sure.

Travels with Mr. & Mrs. Motorman! Love your trips – thanks for taking us along. You were definitely in beautiful country!
I love your videos and of course, the wonderful photos. Fall foliage is interesting up here. Some areas are beautiful, in some the leaves are already falling rapidly, yet some haven’t even turned colors completely yet. But we are enjoying one of the prettier, more colorful autumns than we’ve had for some time.
well, I’m in the same area, so I think you know what the foliage is lookin’ like ; ) I haven’t been down route 10 in a few, but I’d imagine there are some trees that are starting to turn … great pics & vid !
Still must green in our area in Va Beach. Still have not been out to far. So enjoy your trip videos.
