Early one morning last week, I glanced out of our kitchen window and saw a beautiful white egret standing by the water’s edge. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good angle for a picture.
When Motor Man came down the hall for breakfast a little later, I mentioned the egret to him. He replied that it he had seen it, and that it had moved to the point that I could probably get a picture from our bedroom window.
And he was right.
After we finished breakfast, he went back to our bedroom and noticed the egret was facing in our direction. Motor Man took this picture.
