Early one morning recently, while sitting at our desk, I glanced over to see Sundae at the window. Thankfully the camera was nearby, and I was able to get some pictures.
But not without getting her attention, of course. We recently moved her ‘old’ window seat to the guest room (since she now goes there to ‘overnight kitty camp’ every night, so we can rest). She just hasn’t yet accepted this new seat, preferring instead to sit on the windowsill on either side of it. Yes, she has walked across it, to which the paw indentations will attest.
Then I snapped this one using the flash. For some reason, this shows the golden hour of sunrise.
Thanks, Sundae, for the ‘cozy’ pictures. Now give that new window seat a try, okay?

Overnight kitty camp? 😉. Sounds like someone wants to play instead of sleep at night. Love these pictures.
Give me a day off, a cup off coffee, and a book, and I’ll try out that seat and make her jealous! 🙂
That’s so funny……we have that same window seat and Teddy refuses to use it too. His old one (inherited from Sammy) was perfect for him – more like a hammock than a platform – but when it began getting too worn we replaced it with this one. It’s a “no – go” . Oh well – can’t say we didn’t try right?
Hugs, Pam
Oh my, overnight kitty camp sounds awesome! Lyle might “enjoy” it as well! Last Christmas Santa brought Lyle a cat bed…..he has refused to sleep on it. I really think everything has to be “their” idea in order for it to work. And I truly believe cats are capable of holding grudges indefinitely!!l lol!!
I like the different lighting effects you tried this time … & maybe she’ll make it her ‘spot’ sometime soon …. you know how those cats are !!
Oh those kitties, they do tend to be persnickety!
She misses her pawrents. She will adjust soon.
