Today’s the first Poetic Thursday of 2022. As we usually do on Thursdays, we’re joining Pam and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats for some poetry.

Here’s my poem:
The Little Skier
A cute little toddler with his own set of skis.
It won’t take much snow to be up to his knees.
Mittens and boots, he has all the gear,
and that confident stride that shows no fear.
He already has plans, and one day he hopes
to conquer the very steepest of slopes.
For now, the backyard is as far as he’ll go;
as he watches the skies in hopes of more snow.
