Sunrise Flight
Climb inside
for a ride
under the skies
at sunrise.
Golden glow,
earth below.
Love these views,
seen with you.
It’s been grand,
now we land.
Motor Man and I have taken three hot air balloon flights, all at sunrise, and it really is like no other experience. On this page, to the right, there’s a category “Hot Air Balloons”. When I chose this photo for Poetic Thursday I thought of you and JR ! It’s a beautiful photo isn’t it…..and I love all the other balloons in the shot AND that sunset – WOW. Well done poem to capture the feeling!

A perfect picture for you to write a poem about.
I bet that was a lot of fun. I have a bit of a fear of heights. I’m fine on a plane or in a tall building, but standing close to an edge that can be fallen off of, no thanks. I would have to be tied onto the balloon. 🙂
