Poetic Thursday: What A Shame

It’s the first Poetic Thursday of February.  Each week we join Pam, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats to share some poetry. They gave us this photo for our inspiration for this week’s poem:

Here’s my poem:

What A Shame

Going to a concert should be fun;
meeting and talking with everyone.

Enjoying the music and your favorite bands,
but this scene definitely got out of hand.

Trespassing and littering, it’s just a shame
to give all music lovers such a bad name.

I’m sure there were many who did their best
and had no part in this unsightly mess.

  1. Good job…! Sadly people do just ignore the signs and do what they want often – and that leads to one big mess! Thanks for participating in Poetic Thursday……….!

    Pam and Teddy too

  2. How BIG does the NO CAMPING sign need to be??? I agree about the one big mess. Too many times folks think the sign is for everyone else but me….Sad. Great treatment of the picture in your poem.
