Poetic Thursday: A Mother’s Thoughts

It’s the Thursday before Mother’s Day AND poetry day here on the blog. Our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy host Poetic Thursday each week over at Two Spoiled Cats.

This is the (very appropriate) photo they gave us for our inspiration this week:

And here’s my poem:

A Mother’s Thoughts

Come, sweet one, and give me a kiss;
may you always remember days like this.

Moms help their children to grow up strong
and love them even when they do wrong.

God made you special in His design,
I’m so very proud to call you mine.
