Today’s pictures are of the sunset from March 27.
I loved how the sun was reflected along the water’s edge.
I took several photos during the sunset. As usual.
And then, I went back in the house, thinking that, since the sun had set, there wouldn’t be any more colorful photos to take.
I happened to look out my “studio” window about twenty minutes later, immediately ran for the camera and headed back outside.
And the colors of the sky continued to change.
It reminded me of the message on a church sign that I saw recently: “Don’t put a period where God has placed a comma”.
And this seemed to be the perfect sunset to share on Easter Sunday.

Oh most definitely the perfect sunset shots (and post-sunset too!) for a beautiful Easter Sunday morning. We hope you and MM and Sundae have a lovely day – thanks for brightening ours with your always-pretty photographs.

Lovely Dianna and the message on the church sign is charmed. Happy Easter to You and Yours!
Beautiful picture for Easter Sunday! Hope you and Motor Man enjoy the day!
Positively glorious! Who could ever paint a sunset as colorful as that one? Joy and blessings on you and your family today.
So amazing that those are from the same night. The changing sky is so beautiful ~ amazing how the tones change…you got a little bit of everything!
Yes, the story doesn’t stop at the Old Testament. It continues into the New Testament. Happy Easter Sunday to you all.
those are awesome. loved the ‘comma’ thought…
Hilde chased a bunny next to your house. I hope that wasn’t the Easter Bunny! Happy Easter neighbors! I think the “after” sunsets are the best!
These are lovely. The quote is very fitting in this instance.
So beautiful and yes, so perfect for Easter Sunday. I, for one, am sure glad God keeps offering us gorgeous sunsets AND commas.
What a wonderful series, and what an appropriate phrase! The house is finally quiet so I can get to reading everyone’s posts…feel so out of touch! Hope you had a wonderful day with people you love!
Stunning photos, Dianna. I love to watch the changes of the sky at sunset and it does change quickly. Hope you and yours had a beautiful day!
I can’t remember the last time I saw color like the kind in pic 4 … ! Not even sure what color to call that ! Plus, the ripples show up very well, too –
Beautiful as always! I never get tired of these photos! ~ Sheila
