These photos are from June 4: my birthday. Motor Man and I went out to dinner, and when we returned home, we knew a storm was brewing. I didn’t think there was any chance of sunset pictures.
But Motor Man happened to glance out the window, and told me I should probably get the camera. I took this from our garage door, not wanting to take a chance on missing the shot.
I rarely even poke my nose outside during a storm, but this sunset was too pretty to miss.
Bride and Groom swans weren’t afraid of the storm. Guess they were enjoying the rain.
It was quite a juggling act, protecting the camera while taking pictures.
No, the storm wasn’t all that close, or I wouldn’t have braved it.
Even for a sunset.
