This week, I’ve been waiting impatiently for Friday, so I could share these photos.
Last weekend, Motor Man and I went to the Outer Banks. In order to avoid the $6 each-way toll on the Chesapeake Expressway, we (and hundreds, maybe thousands, of others) take the “back road” through a rural area of Chesapeake.
I’d noticed this little farm before, with its red barns, white fences, buttercups and horses. But when we came by it on the way home Monday, I caught glimpse of something that made me squeal and tell Motor Man that we HAD to make a u-turn. This is why:
Is that not precious?
And that sweet little creature came over to the fence to pay me a visit.
Why, hello, there, cutie.
Then, suddenly, he decided to gallop across the pasture. I snapped this right as he was starting to run. Just look at those spindly little legs.
And Mom followed close behind.
Linking up to Friday’s Fences. (Did you even notice the fences?!)
