Sunset Sunday

The sunset on September 14 was one of my favorites in recent days, probably because of all the blue.

And because my two friends were there.  It was low tide, so I was able to get down to eye level with the swans. What a handsome guy!

And his beautiful “bride”.

I must confess, though, that since I was right down at the water and at an odd angle, most of my pictures looked like this SOOC (straight out of the camera).

I must also confess that the previous pictures were taken from my neighbor’s property. They were out of town, but they’ve given me permission to come over any time to take pictures, and/or feed the swans.  In this picture, taken from their patio, you can see the little sandy area to the left where I took the “eye level” photos of the swans.

A quickly changing sky.

From the first photo to this last one: about 30 minutes.
