  1. In the mist, it looks a little spooky. Perfect for this time of year.

  2. I agree – a little spooky, but what a beautiful building. 🙂

  3. Hauntingly beautiful … and sad, too.

  5. Fantastic picture! Hope someone will restore and love this beautiful old home!

  6. What a great photo with the fog…it would be a fabulous house to own, but I imagine it would take some pretty good money to do it!

  7. This is so mystical, magical and beautiful!

  8. Admittedly I have never hear of “Wordless Wednesday”. It’s a novel ideal to be sure. Love the photo posted today/ It wouldn’t work compositionally except fot he large trees framing the centrally located house. Nice job!

  9. Ethereal. Beautiful picture Dianna. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to give it new life. I’d like to tuck it in my pocket.

  10. The house and the trees that shade it are beautiful. Nice shoot that morning…it was morning, I suppose?

  11. gorgeous art!!! beautiful!

  12. Being a suspense writer, I can definitely see that house and the sparse trees around it in a very spooky thriller!

  13. Great house and great photo! I hope it soon has a family to give it life.

  14. Love the clean, balanced lines of these old houses. Not sure whether this is a photo of a painting or the real subject. Regardless, perfect subject for this time of the year.

  15. Wow the lighting on this shot is right on…gives this house a spooky kind of look!

  16. That’s really an amazing shot….perfect amount of ground fog to give it that spooky/dreamy look!

  17. Had to enlarge this one, sit and look at it for a while. Stunning.

  18. Awesome early morning shot in the mist! There’s just something about that hour … wish I had the $ to fix ‘er up …..

  19. that looks like it should be in a novel. Love it!

  20. Nice, love the fog.

  21. That’s a lovely atmospheric image, love the sunlight on the building.

  22. I hope that majestic house gets a family very soon. It looks so forlorn and sad in the misty fog of morning. It needs life inside its walls to make it happy. Gorgeous photo though!

  23. Wow! What a beautiful old home!
