I may have mentioned that the swans took an extended vacation recently. They were gone for more than a month. When I posted a picture of them on Facebook after their return, a friend suggested that perhaps they’d been on a honeymoon…?
They began returning (sporadically) last week. And Saturday, on one of the most gorgeous autumn days you can imagine, they both stopped for a visit….and lunch.
Sometimes I believe that Bride Swan recognizes my camera and poses for me.
My buddy, Groom Swan.
One day….one day, I’ll get a picture of the two of them together with their necks forming the shape of a heart. So far, this is as close as I’ve gotten.
