Motor Man and I slipped away to the Outer Banks for part of the weekend. Saturday was a gorgeous day, so we rode out on the beach in the late afternoon. With such nice weather, it was a busy place. (Oh, and there were a few humans there, too.)
Motor Man spotted the “King of the Hill”.
We waited patiently until he’d had enough sea oats, and came down off the dune.
This next photo is a little busy, but I thought I’d share a picture of him running down the “street”. The ocean is on the other side of the dunes on the right.
It was a smooth drive on the beach. That isn’t always the case. Each time we go, the sand provides a different experience. Much of the time on Saturday, we weren’t even in 4-wheel drive.
What do you think? Highlights…or natural blonde?
We’re normally on the beach around sunrise, but it was a nice change to be there near sunset. This next photo was
edited enhanced with Snapseed, a photo software program that my friend Dee, at The View Out Here, posted about last week. Yes, I believe I’m going to have some fun with that program.
Perhaps later in the week, I’ll share more photos from our most recent OBX trip.
