Sunset Sunday

Since my sunset photo supply is dwindling, I had to really search back in the archives for this one. All the way back to July.

We were in Cambridge, Maryland for a boat race, and since we were near the water anyway, Motor Man and I looked for a suitable place to watch the sunset.

We’ve seen streets like this before, where the home and majority of the yard is on one side of the street, and there’s a little section of grass on the other side of the street as well as a walkway leading down to the water.

So the person who owns this property  lives across the street (to our left).

They were sitting out on their front porch, watching the sunset. And just for the record, we weren’t trespassing. We were just walking along the edge of the street. The very edge. Close to the grass. Really close to the grass.

As if to add to the scenery, this little bird flew in and landed on the gate.

You know, now that I think about it, we just might have been trespassing.  But it was nice of the property owners to share their sunset view with us.

  1. Lovely! The bird was a nice last minute touch but it still is a beautiful view of the water…..bird or no bird! Those little clouds in the second photo look like three crouching animals chasing a ball….LOL Cats??

  14. Now, that would be a lovely spot to perch upon. Obviously, that little birdie knew that. So pretty.

  15. You need a gate by your river bank!
