…our only sign of spring, so far…
~These Days Of Mine~
Obvioudly, trees, flowers and even birds are not deterred by the cold weather. Only us humans…guess they go by the calendar!
Beautiful! Love daffies in the Spring…….we have NO signs of Spring here……ZIP!
No way!!! Really? How beautiful. Our daffodils are only a bit of green peeking up. No sign of Spring here either. Well there is a blustery Pooh-like March wind.. 🙂 Good Morning Dianna!
I’ll take it! Beautiful!
What a beautiful surprise! Made me think of W. Wordsworth’s
“I WANDERED lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.”
Well, Rick stopped the truck to get a photo of a red bud tree, and we’re careful to park the cars in the garage because we just know that yellow pollen is about to burst and dust the driveway.
oh, my. I’m going to buy myself some yellow today! Cheers me up so much!
Lovely and colorful blooms! Ours were caught in the snow and ice this week and hopefully will recover enough to bloom in a week or two. Warmer weather is arriving (again) by the weekend. We are off on a trip to Hampton, VA on Sat as Pat/Grenville has a training seminar. We head back hone on Sunday; i wondered if we will be passing through your area?
Gorgeous – our buds came up and then we had a hard freeze for several days and they were no more. Thanks for sharing these beauties.
I love these! Does anyone ever remember calling them “buttercups”?
Just have green here. Yours are gorgeous. Enjoy!
We woke up to more snow!
Such hardy flowers! I can’t believe they made it through this weather! Come on Spring!!!
It’s a good sign !
Finally!! What a welcome sight. We cut some on Saturday. My Christmas cactus has a rogue bloom right now. Do you think it knows something?
A beautiful gift from our Lord to let us know Spring in on the way!!!!! Your flowers are bright and wonderful this year, Dianna!
Good enough for me, I’ll take it!
But what a sign! They’re beautiful!
Wow. I am pea-green with envy. Gorgeous sign. ahhh so gorgeous.
That works for me!
You lucky duck! Beautiful daffodils. So far, we’ve got….nothing. Still too cold and not enough sunshine. That’s why I had to go back into my archives for Wordless Wednesday yesterday and post a photo from a couple of years ago — wishful thinking. 😉
Joyful, yellow daffodils. Thanks for sharing this bouquet. My little patch gets only morning sun and blooms much later than others. Went driving through the Tappahannock area last weekend and it is so nice to see little clumps shooting up amid the crumbly fallen leaves.
