Adding Another To The List

One of the bonuses of blogging is the opportunity to meet (in person) other bloggers.

Motor Man and I took advantage of that opporunity over the weekend.

The blogger is Beatrice Boyd, her hubby is Grenville, and their blog is The Frog And The PenguINN.  The Boyds live in Onley, which is on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. They were in our area over the weekend, so we arranged for dinner and a short visit.

(I really need to think of a more creative pose, other than just a  “line up” against the wall!)

It’s always nice to meet a fellow blogger, and we enjoyed getting to know the Boyds. If you aren’t already one of their readers, I’m sure they’d love for you to stop by for a visit.

  1. Always tons of fun to meet in person someone you’ve gotten to know through their blog! Glad you had a good time with them!

  2. You and your blogging buddies are have a lot of ‘meets and greets’ this winter! Well, I guess it’s officially spring now but has anyone told Mother Nature??

  3. Beatrice P. Boyd

We had an enjoyable visit as well, Dianna. And, agree that it was great to meet another fellow blogger. Anytime you are visiting the VA eastern shore again, please let us know. Always great to meet online friends in person. Thanks too for the candle!

  4. Last year D1 and GS1 got to meet two very interesting and talented women who I met through the blog. And this year D2 and her family got to meet you and MM. I suppose it’s not necessary to meet since we share our words often, but I strive to introduce my family to wonderful people in their surroundings. It’s so enriching for them, and I love to bring my blogging friends up in conversation. Meeting makes these conversations relevant to them if they “know” who and what I’m talking about.
    Isn’t it fun?

  12. Oh Dianna, this is so nice! I’m looking forward to this someday myself. When I was just a reader of blogs, I struck up a cyber-friendship with a blogger with whom I felt an immediate connection. She and I jumped the broom, so to speak, over to personal emails and now she is one of my dearest friends. And there is no way we ever would have “met” without participating in the world of blogging. It’s a good thing, isn’t it?
And you look great in your camera pose!

  16. I was just telling my husband about you and Georgette meeting in person the other day. I told him it is like meeting a pen pal, you ‘know’ the person through writing back and forth but you haven’t actually seen them in person. And here you are, meeting another blogging friend! You are blessed, Dianna!

  17. How nice to get to meet more bloggers. Sometimes, it feels like one big happy family. Thanks for the link.
