With the world’s current events, it seems most of us are finding happiness in the simple things. Many of my friends have commented on noticing the birds (and the sounds they make), the flowers, etc., as if we’re seeing them differently these days. ..or just paying more attention.
I took this picture last week and shared it with Marshall. He replied that it was worthy of a blog post of its own.
This picture makes me happy.
Motor Man’s easy, relaxed smile makes me happy.
Sundae’s contentment makes me happy.
The blue of our bedroom walls makes me happy.
The ‘kitty blanket’ makes me happy.

While life certainly HAS changed – one thing hasn’t – our ability to find happiness if we just look for it. Doesn’t have to be huge chunks of it; little bits add up to big bits. I too find a great deal of happiness in just looking at my husband working on a project, and watching Teddy napping, and even in making dinner every night…..life is what we make it even when there are BUMPS in the road.
