And this is my poem:

(Not) Heading South

I’m tired of the cold, though I’m made of snow.
My bags are packed, and I’m ready to go.

Look out, Florida, here I come
to the land of palms and golden sun.

On second thought, I’m so befuddled:
Florida means I’d be one big puddle.

So right here is where I think I’ll stay.
Snow-folks aren’t meant for a southern vacay.

  1. Yes indeed – I think this guy ilkes the IDEA of sunny Florida but he would definitely be sorry shortly after arriving! Thanks for playing poetry with us today.
