As you look at the photos of Thursday’s sunset on today’s post, you’ll probably notice that they’re zoomed in a little more than usual.
There’s a good reason for that.
Thursday morning, I reached for the camera, which was on our dresser…….the strap got caught in the drawer pull…… I kept going…..the camera didn’t. Well, actually, it did keep going. Right to the floor.
When I tried to take a picture, the camera made a strange noise, but wouldn’t work. I was, shall we say, a little upset. Motor Man suggested that maybe it was the lens that was broken and not the camera itself. And he was right.
It was the “short” lens that broke, which means that now I only have the long distance lens. You can tell I’m a professional photographer by those real technical terms that I use.
We’ll decide soon whether to send this lens to be repaired or buy a new one. In the meantime, I guess you’ll be seeing some up-close photos.
