This was the sunrise on August 20, two weeks ago today.
The morning was quiet, the water was like glass. Just the way I prefer my sunrises.
It was exactly one week before our visit by Hurricane Irene. These waters weren’t nearly as calm last Saturday.

The morning was also being enjoyed by a canine sunrise fan and his master.
