Last week, I picked up a friend at her workplace, and we drove to a nearby town to meet another friend for lunch. Our trip involved some country roads that I’d never traveled before.
And along the way, I found a barn.
And my friend clued me in to this barn just across the highway. It was well off the road, and I wouldn’t have know it was there if she hadn’t told me.

Rick always takes the back roads to the farm. When my mother comes along she is amazed we know our way. Traveling the back roads is quieter and definitely more scenic.
Barns. Friends. LUNCH! A happy trifecta!! Both of these barns are charming but the charmingest to me is the top one. The barns have some beautiful clouds keeping them company! Good Morning Dianna!

Nothing like being a barn celebrity. My uncle loves his barns more than he loves the house and he will be over the moon to see his barn featured! I was so happy to the the friend you came to see! Thanks for the pictures..Love my old teapot with the plant in it!

These old barns are everywhere .. I’m learning that, and our journey to the mountains the other day was a field trip!!
Love the old barns that look like barns and not just sheds for farming equipment. Modern barns aren’t nearly as charming as these two.
