I can’t truthfully say that I walk every morning. I can truthfully say that I walk many mornings. During my walk one day last week, I noticed just how beautiful everything was in the golden light, and decided to take along my camera the following morning.
Some days I walk down to the nearby marina. On this particular morning, the marsh grass and boats were highlighted by the rising sun.
This was the view to my right:
And a little further to the right:
The seasons are changing, temperatures are falling. I don’t really want to bundle up in all those layers, the earmuffs, the mittens and go out early for that walk.
But golden hour beckons.
I’ll be back in about thirty minutes.

Well, I for one am glad you took your camera along on this walk – you captured some BEAUTIFUL views around your neighborhood. Thanks for “taking us along” through your lens!

Makes walking all worth it doesn’t it? NOT! LOL You know me and exercise,
That water looks like a mirror, so quiet, really nice place for a walk.
Beautiful! I love the mirror image in the water!
Dianna I am sure glad you walk most mornings and that you grab your camera! Love the last picture!!!!
Glassy water, morning mist, golden light…wonderful!
Gorgeous! I can’t ever see the “golden hour” without thinking of you, my friend. 🙂

Such a beautiful morning view at that. Love the last picture in this post. Looks so peaceful.
these are spectacular. thank you.
The calm after the storm…
Oh Dog! I wanna go walk with you!
What a beautiful area you have to walk in. Living in the city, when I walk I see Talbots and Whole Foods and Williams-Sonoma, etc. not picture worthy, but nice to visit. I want to have both— the beautiful scenery and the shops. I can drive down to the Boardwalk and walk there, just three miles from me, but I hate to take the car out. So I walk to the library or the store or the YMCA. You’re right, though, about the weather putting a damper on enthusiasm for walking. Besides the temperature, it’s always so breezy here, which makes it feel even colder.
Golden hour … It was a chilly one this morning, too.. The early morning walk is a tradition of yours, and I know it takes a bit ! I remember the pics of you bundled up for when it gets REAL cold ! 😉
Just beautiful! Golden Hour brought to us by Morning Motivation… Keep walking, we ALL benefit. 🙂
