Friday’s Fences – Colonial Williamsburg

Since I’ve shared all most of my Vermont pictures, today I’m rewinding to our trip last month to Colonial Williamsburg for some fence photos.

A split rail in the golden light of afternoon.

And, on a side street, this little “shabby chic” fence and gate.

  8. Remember these split rail fences right across the road from our hotel in Colonial WmBurg many years ago–complete with some old cattle breeds like the shaggy highlanders in the pasture. Great variety of “shabby chic” fencing as you walk around. Like that gate a lot and good eye with the shot through railing.
