Remember in yesterday’s post I wrote that sunrise is my favorite time of day? I quite possibly have been mistaken.
The sky on Wednesday during the sunset was such that I would have been very disappointed had we not been at home for me to take pictures.
We often think of the colors of sunsets as being yellows, oranges, reds or purples. But Wednesday’s sunset was almost all blue.
My buddy, Groom Swan, swam by, obviously on a mission.
He rounded up his geese buddies, and they all paddled by in the other direction, paying no attention to the sunset.
Oblivious to the beauty around them.
But me?
I was enjoying every minute.

Dianna this is lovely….thank you for sharing.
Just like a male to ignore all that beauty…only interested in his best buds!!
oooo, that last picture was a surprise.
the blues of twilight are my husband’s favorite colors ~ this is just lovely!
Loving the swan silhouette!
LOVE this series! just wonderful!
These are beautiful, Dianna. I’m glad you didn’t miss them. I think the Groom Swan and geese were enjoying it. Aren’t their eyes on the sides of their head? I’m pretty sure I overheard the swan encouraging his friends to come with him on a sunset sail. 🙂
I think you have the geese trained! I told you sunsets are the best…and you don’t have to get up early in the morning to see them!!
Oh my goodness, what wonderful captures – you live in such a beautiful place!
This has to be one of my favorite series of yours. Gorgeous!
These are lovely pictures – I always say you can’t beat a good sunset, sunrise. The swans in the pictures just add to the loveliness.
Remember the dandelions in my post you said didn’t look like the ones you get – well, one of my friendly bloggers let me know that it was actually a hawkweed and not a dandelion. I’m not very up on my flowers etc. lol.
great….great series. so many people would not appeciate it as you do!!
gorgeous!!!!
The last two are quite a pair! Another great sunset!
Enjoyed the sunsets as much as the sunrises.
Now I am awake here for the sunsets 🙂 I guess I just have to learn to stop and enjoy them!
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. 🙂
I love sunsets and I love the blues in these sunset photos! Wonderful capture! Stunning, really. ~Cheryl
